In the last week of May, local programmer and cool video game enthusiast, Fifteenai otherwise known as "15", launched a brand new never before seen art website called Artist Alley! an amazing, and cozy website made for artists and art lovers alike! With similarities to websites like Ko-fi and Etsy,
this website was made with much more love, thought, and consideration towards what artists and art lovers really wanted to see. With regular updates, attentive staff, adorable atmosphere, Stripe and Paypal compatibility, alongside a commissioner's chatting system, queue line system, organized notifications, fully customizable storefront pages, artists are lining up to grab a slice of this amazingly baked cake. What's more, there are no fees for anything you sell. Aside from what Stripe and Paypal would normally take, all earnings 100% go to you as the seller! As for any unwanted ads? Forget about those! Artists have the lovely option to promote their store in the "sponsored stores/listings" tabs for a small price, which also supports the site itself and keeps it goin'! What can you sell? Well, just about anything you made!

Recently our local Scribble pone, otherwise known as the beloved Paperrmare ran into some unfortunate financial troubles. They've been hoping to move out with their darling this year, however, they only have around $400 in savings. They unfortunately can't take any commissions due to needing to prepare
to vend at their next convention and continue plush work. In short, they just don't have the time or resources to continue any paid art in their current schedule, alongside their current housing situation hosting a slew of both physical and mental problems, furthering any delay in paid work. JENNI'S SISTER SUCKS
For the past few months, our most beloved candypone, otherwise known as Jenni, has been living with her sister and her family with the agreement of babysitting their kids while looking for a job. Well, a job was indeed found! Sadly, they didn't like that one bit and decided to kick her out immediately.
Thankfully, her parents agreed to take Jenni in for the next month, and she has since been needing to rush previous arrangements to move into a more permanent home. Unfortunately, the cost of moving across the country on such short notice is quite high, and since she was unable to do much art/work while babysitting kids, savings are quite low. ALL PRIDE, NO PANT
The last month has been both mayhem and craziness as Seku races against the clock to finish all the pride parade preparations, as well as prepare for future YCH, commissions, and a special exclusive shop item soon to be announced! (well, y'know...

AFTER she's done everything) Indeed this month has not only been full of art but also full of strangely timed tragedy, as her car kinda... exploded on the highway. As well as hurting her leg. And arm. Twice. We think we saw her on the floor a few times. BUT SHE'S STILL GOING STRONG and apparently won't let anything stop her despite several doctors warnings and concerns! With your help, she's managed to find a new car that didn't break the bank, as well as afford to fix up the interior issues, and of course, buy some cheesy snacks to go with it. She's held up many "thank you" signs and set off several alarmingly close fireworks in appreciation, and looks to be going right back to work to finish what she started (and more!). Indeed, whatever's wrong with her, we might not know, but what we do know, is that she forgot to wear pants today. Turn in next time as we uncover what she's been hard at work cooking in the merch department!
